The Gambia’s ICT demand prospects are robust and on an upward trajectory

The number of mobile phone subscriptions in The Gambia has grown from 0 in 1990 to 2.5 million in 2019. Similarly, the % of the population using the internet has grown from almost 0 to over 50% in 2019. The government of The Gambia has also increasingly liberalized the ICT sector.
