The 17 OIC Trade Fair to be held in Dakar, Republic of Senegal on 13-19 June 2022

The Gambia Investment and Export Promotion agency through the support from Inclusive Growth Promotion and Institutional Support Project (IGPISP)-PCU has sponsored the participation of Eight(8) Gambian Businesses in the 17th edition of OIC trade fair from the 13th -19th of June 2022 in Dakar, Senegal.
The OIC trade fair is an event Organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation(OIC) and its partners. The event is aimed at increasing trade and other economic activities among the OIC member states.
On the sideline of the fair, the Gambia investment and Export Promotion agency has also participated in the policy dialogue meeting and Senegal investment forum where Investment Promotion Agencies (IPA's) exchange ideas and provide policy recommendations to the coorporation and its partners. There was also a site visit at their Special Economic Zone In DIAMNIADIO.
The Gambia investment and Export Promotion agency, Morocco and Saudi Arabia were awarded as countries with the best pavilion of the fair. One of the female Entrepreneurs from The Gambia was also awarded as the best female Exhibitor.
