GIEPA Engages in Belgian Investment Mission to Strengthen Partnerships

GIEPA is participating in a Belgian Investment and Entrepreneurship Mission in Brussels under the Boosting Gambian Talents (BGT) Project, implemented by Enabel.

The mission aims to strengthen partnerships, promote investment opportunities, and enhance private sector development in The Gambia.

During the visit, GIEPA held high-level discussions with Enabel and the Gambian Embassy in Belgium, focusing on trade facilitation and support for Gambian businesses in Europe.

At the Economic and Partnership Conference, GIEPA showcased key opportunities in agribusiness, tourism, renewable energy, and the digital economy, while highlighting ongoing reforms to improve the business environment.

The mission also emphasized diaspora engagement and SME development, with GIEPA set to continue outreach at FIEDA 2026.
